Ushuaïa

Located towards the south end of Playa d’en Bossa, Ushuaïa is more of a beach club than a beach bar. Great food, flamboyant cocktails, vintage champagne, four-poster beds, chill out areas, exotic pre-parties, some of the biggest named DJ’s on the island…the list goes on. It’s no wonder why one of Playa d’en Bossa’s newest additions is rapidly making a name for itself.

The reason behind its success is simple in theory but slightly more difficult to put into practice. That of creating a venue that oozes style, produces quality in all departments and has the music to match. Suddenly those monotonous ‘days at the beach’ have gained a stark element of excitement. The kitchen, open all day long, offers reasonably priced fashionable Mediterranean cuisine with an Asian influence. An array of fresh fish and meat dishes are both plentiful in supply and wonderful in taste. For a slightly lighter option on the palette, beach snacks, mouth watering salads and epicurean sandwiches are in high demand. Whether you chose to have a chilled bottle of chilled champagne, a wine off their extensive list or alternatively a signature cocktail to accompany, you are bound to be in for a treat.

With DJ’s such as Luciano being a resident throughout the summer, as well as guest appearances from the likes of Tania Vulcano, Bob Sinclar and David Morales, Ushuaïa is well and truly on the map. The parties that they host are arguably even more special, attracting the island’s cognoscenti in their hundreds. It is well worth going out of your way to experience this stylish and energetic venue, and once you are there make sure that you are in no rush to leave, as you are bound to want to stay until the early hours.
