Pizzerias and Italian Cuisine
Beach Restaurants
It certainly hold’s its own when it comes to the bragging rights with regards to sea front restaurants. The typically Italian Restaurant of the Talamanca Club may not be as elegant or fashionable as the nearby La Barraca or Sa Punta, however it certainly provides a refreshing and much more informal alternative to such venues. The restaurant is set on top of the beach, where one can choose to dine amongst the natural shelter of the tree lined terrace or alternatively on the adjoining sand. Everyone receives a warm welcome at Talamanca Club, and the menu provides a fitting reflection of this.
The cuisine is predominantly Italian based, from a wide variety of cooling salads to the (significantly!) more filling options incorporating a selection of homemade pasta dishes or generously sized stone baked pizzas. Alternatively, a selection of fresh fish and steak dishes are on offer and prove to be in equally high demand. As salads go, you can’t go far wrong from the Pork Carpaccio accompanied with a pear salad and mature cheese. Both the pizzas and pastas were brilliant and well worth trying. It’s no wonder why this beach front restaurant is a favourite amongst tourists who don’t want to break the bank on dining out.
Talamanca Club offers great value for money, where you are likely to get change from €10 when ordering one of the pizza or homemade pasta dishes. It is highly recommended to pay the restaurant a visit if you are ever in the area and after high quality produce at very reasonable prices. Open for both lunch and dinner from 13:00 – 01:00.
